ESF can integrate with and assist in three general areas of many businesses: Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Let’s talk about each.
Sales
Two decades of Internet inbound sales “innovations” not only fail to ring the register as they promise, but have left an experience gap in our sales culture. Sales automation tools can be fantastic … but only when you have real salespeople behind them. It’s hard to find outbound salespeople who can take a lot of “No.”
Yet, after the 2008 crash and the damage done to our supply chains and economy brought on by the response to COVID-19, hustle is needed more than ever.
The people at ESF have generated nearly a billion dollars in sales over their careers that have helped build companies worth and sometimes sold for nearly 100 million dollars.
In that time, we’ve built systems to scale our efforts and get more shots at more targets. And, if you don’t feel like your product is being put in front of enough decision-makers, we’re aces. We’ve presented to CEOs and cooked for chefs. We’ve got you covered.
Marketing
For manufacturers, marketing functions can be a real chicken-and-egg problem. Most companies are either “not there, yet” or will never really have a need for full-time marketing staffing. There’s a constant need for marketing functions, but not enough for a full hire — let alone a qualified marketer.
So, what do most manufacturers do?
They hire expensive agencies for keystone projects, and try to get by with whatever a recent art school graduate or the most creative or least busy person in the office can do. The results are usually inconsistent and fail to show the company and its products in the best light.
ESF’s people have done the branding and marketing. We’ve developed the programs, managed the buys, stayed up all night at the press checks and at post-production. We’ve written the winning content and designed the memorable identity packages.
Whether you’ve already got an overworked marketer who could use a little help, or an under-qualified substitute who could use a lot, we can fill in the gaps.
Operations
Maybe there are hitches in your distribution, your sourcing, or your transportation. Maybe you don’t have a plan for returns, or for sampling, or for activating a broader broker network. Proper item setups at retailers and distributors are like a different language and logic. Throughout a supply chain, countless tasks fall between departments, functions, and job titles, where few people have the know-how or desire to handle them. So they don’t get done, or they get done poorly.
We know this because we’ve done it all and we can help you do it, too.
